Islamic Poetry in English
I believe in the religion of Islam. I believe in Allah and peace.
Islam teaches tolerance, not hatred; universal brotherhood, not enmity; peace, and not violence.
The word ‘Islam’ means ‘peace.’ The word ‘Muslim’ means ‘one who surrenders to God.’ But the press makes us seem like haters.
Allah says in the Quran not to despise one another. So the criterion in Islam is not color or social status. It’s who is most righteous. If I go to a mosque – and I’m a basketball player with money and prestige – if I go to a mosque and see an imam, I feel inferior. He’s better than me. It’s about knowledge.
I think Islam has been hijacked by the idea that all Muslims are terrorists; that Islam is about hate, about war, about jihad – I think that hijacks the spirituality and beauty that exists within Islam. I believe in allowing Islam to be seen in context and in its entirety and being judged on what it really is, not what you think it is.
All over the Middle East, we face difficult challenges: the ongoing tragedy in Syria, the instability in Iraq, and the jihadist terrorism which dares to speak in the name of Islam, brings so many to seek refuge. The Hashemite Kingdom is facing all these challenges with honor, with dignity, and with great national and human solidarity.
The name Muhammad is the most common name in the world. In all the countries around the world – Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon – there are more Muhammads than anything else. When I joined the Nation of Islam and became a Muslim, they gave me the most famous name because I was the champ.
I consider it part of my responsibility as President of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.
I’m just hoping that people understand that Islam is peace and not violence.
I lead no party; I follow no leader. I have given the best part of my life to careful study of Islam, its law and polity, its culture, its history and its literature.
Ever since the Crusades, when Christians from western Europe were fighting holy wars against Muslims in the near east, western people have often perceived Islam as a violent and intolerant faith – even though when this prejudice took root Islam had a better record of tolerance than Christianity.
Fanaticism and terrorism have no place in Islam.
You can use these Islamic images as your Facebook or Whatsapp profile picture which we called DP. And also you can use them as your Facebook cover photo. On these images I have wrote some beautiful Islamic Quotes on them to beautify the images.
Islamic Poetry for Facebook
There are almost 7 billion people in this planet, Allah (SWT) has chosen you among all these humans to be a Muslim. Be thankful, be grateful and work for it.
Alhamdulillah for always giving me what I needed instead of what I wanted.
I have a lot to be thankful for. I am healthy, happy and I am loved. Alhamdulillah.
Alhamdulillah for everything.
Alhamdulillah for cool shades on hot days.
Another day, another chance to right the wrongs of yesterday. Alhamdulillah.
Don’t just thank Allah when everything’s going right, thank Him even when things are challenging. Say Alhamdulillah.
We are blessed by Allah SWT in so many ways. Always remember that and be grateful.
Stop. Breathe. Remind yourself – Allah is with you. He’s watching over you. He’s testing you because He loves you. He hasn’t forgotten you. He’s making you stronger. Now smile. Alhamdulillah.
I seek forgiveness of Allah, the Mighty.
Oh Allah, Please bless us with eyes that see the best in people, a heart that forgives the worst, a mind that forgets the bad & a soul that never loses faith. Amin.
Oh Allah, fix my heart.
O Allah, change me until I’m someone you are pleased with.
O Allah, Your Mercy I am hopeful for, so do not leave me to myself for the blink of an eye, and put all my affairs in order, there is no god but You.
